[SOLVED] What does it mean to work on some projects?

After learning to code I have heard people saying "I am going to work on some projects now". What do they mean by that? Projects like what?

A project can be any piece of work that takes longer than an Angry Birds session.
In some cases it might take years :)
It can be really anything that needs some planning and research to build. In best case you can divide it in smaller parts, then you have some "milestones" of completion.

Thay mean any project(app, website,game), like to-do app, calculator, shoping website, some simple game...
Some of tham are complex than other, but with real life problems you can be ready to get a job, and you also build portfolio.
There is lot of project ideas on internet.

Just solving code challanges is not enougt, you need to know how to build things with this knowlegde.
