What is the lifes for?

Sololearn has added a new sistem of lifes... Does anyone know what is it for exactly?

Muhammad I guess he means the heart system. If I'm right they works same like in games. Loose a heart if you make a mistake in the lessons, continue until your 5 hearts are gone.
