How can i arrange the value in java collection?

So i have this assignment that is due on friday. I just want to ask what java collection i should use.
The problem that he gave is i should arrange the value in ascending order

Ex.

input: "c", "a", "d", "b"
Output should be: a, b, c, d

What will i use and do?
