c# is fine. Unity game engine uses c# and javascript. Unreal engine and most of your big devs use c++.. Java can do games as well, especially if you are going to android development.

I recommend learning Python to get a hold on programming basics, then move to c++ and put in the work. No two ways about it, the only way to get what you want is to put in the work. get started
