Best ways to learn c++ and GUI properly and good references

As you might know, c++ is one of the most complex languages out there
I want you to share your experiments about learning it
Also, I want to learn more about its subjects like GUI and memory management which are very important and i wanna know the best ways to learn them and some good references
Consider that my main issues are working with graphics, memory management and creating good looking apps
