HTML5 and CSS3 are all you need to get started. Dont get overwhelmed at the start.

Html, css, JavaScript, php and MySQL are my favs (not all are programming languages but you write code with them)
There are also applications within python, java, ruby, ASP.net (which is dying)

For front end (the website you see): HTML, CSS and JS often with some frameworks
Back end (the stuff you don’t see): A variety of languages some being... Java, PHP, Python, C++, Ruby and many more
