This app in brief...
JavaScript/HTML/CSS/PHP: 90 percent of learners. Java/Python/C++/C#/Ruby and other non web languages: ~10 percent of learners. I might have got percentages wrong, but probably not that wrong, I am overall correct. Why does almost everyone want to be a web developer. Almost nobody is interested in non-web development?

because web development is easy to learn...

It's:
- easier
- the interpreter on SoloLearn is better for them than the compilers (compilers barely cover anything for non-web programming, interpreters cover everything (or almost everything, I'm not sure) for HTML and CSS for example.
