HTML5 is better because it is updated and improved in all aspects, it also incorporates new tags that facilitate the work of the programmer.

HTML5 is the newer version, and HTML (4) is the older version. It depends more on which version you like the most. In HTML5 there may be more tags and tag options for your website đ

HTML5 is better with certain updates on tags that can used and those that are no longer supported on most client interfaces - Browsers. New and updated versions can also be seen with CSS and the bootstrap framework even though knowledge of older versions still give you the basic point.. Do not stick to old stuff that might not be useful.
