Depends on your skill level. For beginners Python would be the right choice because it has some libs for that already. If you know how to code already well then I would suggest C or C++ for fast and efficient implementations.

Karl is right. I would recommend to try it using your "best" language, just to understand the principles of AIs, then move on to advance the performance of your AIs
