I would recommend you go for Python first to learn some programming logics. Python is more beginner friendly with its simplicity and cleanliness of syntax. This allows you to focus more on logics instead of language structure itself.

Well... Mate, it depends. What do you want to do? You could start with html and css for website development. Java is the best for android apps development or you could learn c++ for making games... I started with html.

thanks everyone. Have no idea what I'm going to do or for what, as of yet. just looking for ways to bring in some side money. and I see coding as a way to do it.

If wanna learn programming language lets start with python>C>C++>C#>Java and others...Here one point is remarkable every programming language is similar type ,so If you learn one programming language others will be very easy to you.

else ,You wanna develope web pages or web,let's start with HTML>CSS>JavaScript>PHP>SQL>ASP.NET(C#)>python for web script.
