Why is not Java recommended for make video games?

better game engines in c++. really depends on what your game needs. I wouldn't rule out Java on anything. It is robust and installed on 4 billion devices for a reason

Most video games require speed in processing so JVM's interpretation of the bytecode isn't fast enough.

Now I understand, sorry for not specifying, what I wanted to know is if Java is still currently being used to program videogames? but you have opened my mind, thank you very much.
