Think writing the xml layout manually is more powerful than creating components directly with java, but with the second method you can add components dinamically to your app's screen. So it depends on what you want to do

Hi. Congrats first and I have a question :D How long did it take to learn Android Studio? And how long did it take for you to develop this app?

@Faeze to develop app for Android you have to know how to Program in Java. I spent a couple of year learning java And going deeper in its secrets. Then learning the java syntax for Android was simpler. "finish" this app took about a week, most of all because i'm a bit lazy 😇
