I have never experienced this. What I have experienced, however, is that coders tend to treat everyone equally. And they always make people (be them men or women) prove themselves before they give them their respect. And women observe that that happens to them and assume that it only happens to women.
However, that's just my personal experience, your milage may vary.

You are in a modern country...I am in Egypt and here we don't see people by gender or even certificates we see people by their work and I actually choosed a girl to be in my graduation project team because she is a good programmer while I am in the 2nd year.

Because there are still lots of sexist ideas floating around. Even when people consciously think that gender only matters in the bed, for the majority we do not act like that. And there is no reason, why programmers should differ in that regard from the rest of society.
