what was your first operating system used to operate your PC / Laptop?

I used MS DOS in 1989 to operate a PC,also used Lotus 1 2 3(primitive version to work like MS Excel),both are Microsoft products.Mostly computer were used as a substitute of TypeWriter or Electronic TypeWriter.We learnt to keep mailing address lists of companies/firms/institutions,General typing works,making salary sheets,Result sheets etc.My owned Personal PC was 128MB RAM,20GB Hard Disk in 1998.

@Martin Taylor we called "Tape Cartridges" ( this small tape cassette),Master copy of songs also preserved in it,we also use it to keep our daily Banking trasanctions record Backup in it(it can store huge data).
