[DUPLICATE] What language should I learn first?

I am a BS Computer Science graduate with unrelated work experience towards programming. I am now learning thru various online platforms with hands on lessons to build up my portfolio. What language should I learn first, because I'm having some coding chops 😊

I will place a vote for Java. Jump in and get wet. Swim or die. If you survive you will be golden. Just remember there will be times when you will want to quit. Hang in there. It will get hard before it gets easier. good luck
