You can reply to comments in codes and lessons by using reply on the comment you wanna reply on.
Doesn't work for answers in Q&A.

You can't. Comments on SL are _not_ threaded.

Ah, yes, forgot the others. Still, they're only one or two levels deep. It's not really threaded (properly). I mean SL is not reddit... Hey now there's a dangerous thought: /r/sololearn
