How can we deal with homework posts

ppl asking for codes not for help , they don't want to make a rough structure of code, even after telling whole logic ...they want some1 to write a code 4 them... are we here 2 do their homework 😡 , i have stopped helping those now 👉ask for work they done,if they don't show work then we can unfollow the question(after providing algorithm,if possible) 👉those questions can be tagged as [homework] by the mods https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/345515/?ref=app

/* let me tell u how those looks like 1)some recently opened account (generally) 2)they clearly specify what u have to use (that constructructor, that class, than operation... full detail they give ) 3)sometimes saying its urgent 4)sometimes they post it as a challenge , specifying full detail & requirements like how they need , so that they can choose the best , without any effort of their own . . */ //here are some very special posts which i found today only & see many everyday https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1020432/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1021261/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1021574/?ref=app

Unless it is too long to answer we can afford to answer. And as @Hatsy said in the post you attached that you can just provide an algorithm or hints to the asker instead of a complete solution and yes editing them as [HOMEWORK] can also be a solution to this.

@YashThatte aka @code learner why did you deactivate your account?? opening another account with a different name serves you the same purpose?

We are not Mamas and Papas for schoolboys. We are not responsible for their education ("... you should do it yourself..") It is also not our task to do homework for them. So I think, it is an individual decision to help or not to help

I want to raise one more question here , it is about challenges. Not those 5 question challenges but those which people post as a question . I don't have objection on that I have answered such questions and posted my own challenges. But how can we differentiate between homework problem and genuine challenge question? I genuinely posted a challenge by creating a problem and some people thought , it was my homework -> here is that Challenge https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/999595/?ref=app

On the positive side, at least we have these threads give us examples of tasks we can perform ourselves. 😄😄

I think it is a difference between if do == right: show the right way and give a hint elif do == wrong: post a complete code as a solution

I actually like such posts. Like that guy who asked for complex numbers: I already made that code, learned some things along the way and going to give that code to him... after a few weeks, when there's no way he didn't fail.
