Ruby or Python?.. which is easy to learn?

Both are of comparable (low) syntax complexity, but Python is a bit closer to natural language, in my opinion, that is.

I’d say Ruby because while they are about tied for simplicity, Ruby code runs faster. This fact makes Python obsolete.

Both Ruby and Python are not too hard to learn, but I find that Python is a good place to start as it's more straightforward than Ruby and can be a little more readable (but of course, this is just my opinion).
