Why ‘hello’ > ‘heello’

I was just experimenting with python and figure out that: ‘helloo’ > ‘hello’ I thought that is because ‘helloo’ has more letters in it but I got confused when figure out that ‘heello’ < ‘hello’ Can anyone explain the logic here?
