Creating first website

I have learnt the basic html and css and I know java to good extent. I need steps to follow to create my first website preferably a blog. Can I also avoid JavaScript, replacing it with Java?

it's better to use java-script

You can but, you most likely still need to be good with JS and may make things more difficult for you.

I reccomend you make a site with without first.

Or find a good tutorial.
