While prototyping friend functions in a class is it necessary to always pass the address of the object as parameter?If so why is it that we have to pass address as parameter..In programs involving compositions we never used addresses...Why is the need for address of the objects while using friend?

I don't get when one would use magic methods. if I use them when i need to do complex operations, why would I not use a function that I define?

so i heard tht applets have lost its popularity and it has no use of learning so my question is shd i learn or not? and why the hell we shd work along with html while creating an applet rather than just in java????

in the LIMIT section it is said that the offset starts from 0 then why in this BETWEEN section rhe example is not like that...we are declaring from 3 to 7 and it is displaying from 3-7...as per said in the LIMIT it must have started from 4...can anyone explain this please???

Why is it that this app is no longer explanatory as it used to be? In css3 tutorials, the entire css input is not shown, just the new line of code. And the corresponding html code isn't shown and explained as it used to be in html and css tutorials.

why when i use editor for that code didn't print the result automatically and i shoud insert print function first
the code is:
float (insert('enter a number: ')) + float (insert(' enter another number: '))
when i use this code in IDLE the program prints the result automatically

I downloaded Eclipse IDE for java developers. Once I sawy friend making a calculator from net beans IDE , I am trying everything but i can't do in my Eclipse why is it so ?

Output - Why is the output shown as
"Enter a number: Enter another number: 42.0"
Shouldn't the code be so that the inputted integers are shown in the output after each of the colons? if so how would you do this?
