is it an issue with your keyboard or is it a hand/disability?

you can get larger USB keyboards for reasonable prices so you can use type better on your laptop.

or, you can look into applications like JAWS and Dragon which allow you to speak and have the application type it for you.

edit; sorry, JAWS speaks the words on your screen (useful if you are blind)
