so i am trying to figure out how to hide my api key using a proxy server i tried using apigee but i am kind of confused right now

I've also wondered how to protect keys. Naively, I've been thinking of using the Shadow DOM / web components (code linked).

Do you have a link to the confusing bit at Apigee? The page I read is for protecting API's with keys.
