Why android chrome can not open local html file?

Android chrome can not open local html file. But Samsung Internet can. Why is this.

well,there's something error with your URL or might you haven't given permissions to it to do so...

i saved a file ....

index.html ....in folder > /storage/emulated/0/index.html

Or your > Internal Storage/index.html

i just need to type :

file:///storage/emulated/0/index.html ....on URL bar and it just worked...

U can use a file manager to get the path of a file....
