Why code? What made you want to be a developer?

I decided to start coding because I like to create things. When I write a program, I make sure it has functionality to it, and can be used in the real world. The fact that my code can influence other people that I don't know in a positive way makes my day. Learning to code was a blessing, and provides me with endless entertainment.

I've lost all my spark... before it was all "OMG look at that sexy code I can't​wait to get in that!" now it's all "why get excited there's someone else out there who can work it better..." I can't even remember why I decided to be a developer...
