How to send mesaages from php to whatsapp?

Hi all, is there any api in whatsapp for send messages from webpage to whatsapp contacts? If you have the knowledge about it please share with mw

Matias already seen.. we should create twilio account for this right.. are you worked with twilio?

I did not work with twilio on a serious project, but if I will do a project with WhatsApp or SMS integration I will select Twilio ;)
