JavaScript - how long?

Okay so I’m starting out and I’ve got the hang of HTML and CSS coding very easily and enjoy it but now I’m looking into JavaScript to help get my web pages looking better, but I’m going through the learning of language and I’m so confused? Will it take time? Do I just need to keep reading and will I get it? Because html and css I got it straight away!! Thank you :)

First of all JS is not for your web pages look better (UI). It's for giving interactive(make them "alive").
Of course, you need some time to understand and learn basics of this language(btw, not only). The main secret of achievement good skills is practice💪 More practice more experience, easier understanding, cool stuff🙂
