just like HonFu have said it all, but I won't mind to add this to intrigue you, if you feel like you need to be in charge, you want to know all the things going on behind the scene of what your machines are doing, then you have no choice than to take vitamin C 😁😁😂😂, else it's good for you to go for the latest tools

HonFu that's what assembly code looks like, not at all a high level language. C is as low as I prefer to go for obvious reasons 😂.

Aleksandar Nedeljkovic, agreed. I haven't looked into assembly myself yet but definitely plan to. Doesn't necessarily mean that one has to write C or assembly all the time. It can be a widening of one's horizon.

You don't have to, unless there's a need. Eg. if you want to become a front end web developer, you should instead know html, css, JS and it's frameworks mostly. If you work on embedded systems, C is more useful.

C is closer to the hardware than other languages. It can help you get a better understanding of how computers, programming and other programming languages work in the background.

Better way, of course, is Assembler (no metter what asm are used - Macro Assembler or something else). Also, assembler have direct access to hardware register and you must know a structure of components HonFu

It's correct HonFu . But... MOV AH, 21H; MOV AL, 1H; INT 21H are much better way. Of course, I mean call vector interrupt 21h or DOS with function 1h (not BIOS interrupt)😎
