Wait, should I bother learning all of the languages?

When I don’t understand something, it bugs me. I use all knowledge at my disposal to understand and convert the unknown into my known. Similar to eating, if there’s protein I don’t have in that piece of meat (non-understood things), I use my utensils and mouth to eat it (knowledge at my disposal) to convert it into my body’s protein (digesting information, using it for later unknowns). But, why am I learning them all? Should I continue, or aim for some? Which are best to learn, in your opinion?Why should I?

Are you supposed to ingest every single type of food in one meal? Probably not, but you can dedicate your life to it, aspire to taste every different plate originating from every corner of the world. Most people are satisfied with four or five special dishes, but it isn't wrong to be open to different flavours. Should you bother with it? Well, either when you need understand what it tastes like, in order to cook those dishes --- or if you simply like eating.

Beware of bitter pills though!

You do not have to learn them all, of course not. There is no point anyway; they have different usages.
Which are best to learn? Well, what kind of programming do you want to do? Web? AI? Data Analysis? Games? And so on... You gotta know that to focus on the most appropriate language.

As a last word, people often say "start with Python" or "start with C++" or "no C# is the way"... I say if you do not yet know the field that you are interested in, survey the programming languages here on SoloLearn and focus on the one you enjoy most.
