Does or has anybody experienced this?

I am learning Java right now and I am really putting a lot of time into learning program control statements, just to make sure it really sinks in. But... does anyone else feel their head start to spin a little when you think about nesting loops within loops. I mean I conceptually understand it, but I am afraid I will not be able to apply this to a real world situation. I guess I am just waiting for that paradigm shift in my thinking where I can start to look at problems and solve them using code. I am really looking for validation and to know others go through this and come out fine in the end.

you're one of us: "man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original proportions. "

I remember when I was so confused with nested for loops. But after practise and some time it got cleared. I was looking to every part of code and was trying to understand each line. It takes practise and little bit of time from my point of view :)

you shouldn't worry much about it. it happened and is still happening to me when learning something new. you need to give it some time. just continue practicing it, preferably in all possible ways/combinations. first you'll get a feeling for it, then it'll make a "click" and everything become clear as a crystal.

thank you for responding, I am definitely going to keep pushing forward. This entire experience of learning code is really unique. Learning this subject had it's own unique challenges which I really enjoy.
