Does Being An Expert Programmer Means Being Genius At Mathematics?

This has been my question since I started having interest at programming. It's very cool to be able to make or create almost anything by using codes. Especially for me, to be able to make video games someday. But I actually stopped for over a year learning at SoloLearn for the said question has been bugging me out--no pun intended. But I also think though that my question is answerable by "no" since I think, programming recquires much of a person's logical knowledge, not logic in numbers. Hm. I don't know.

No, only basic maths is required for programming.

Thank you! I guess I was just intimidated by the codes doing by others that looks so complicated to a beginner's eye like me. :-)

Creating games does require you to understand more than just basic math if you want to be proficient, for 3d games you should at least understand vector mathematics, matrices, quaternions/Euler angles, Euclidean planes, Pythagoras's theorem, sine, cosine, tangent, radians, and some other stuff from geometry, trigonometry, and linear algebra.

2d game uses mostly the same math, though the math is simpler since you only have to work with 2 dimensions
