Trying not to get too preachy here, but, like you would for an error in your code, you would go to the source of the problem.
Humans created tech. We are the source of the tech, it's not tech that will prevent World War III, it will be humans.
At the end of the day, tech, code, scripts, libraries-- these are all frameworks and tools to help us, but the most important programming language of all is the human language, and if we can not communicate, then we will never be able to solve errors in our real world.

It is eazy.
You can make different programms for different part army. Know programms language, you can make e-virus, which will hack your enemy. Also you can write programms for robots. And more different...

I think it’s more people who can prevent it than ordinary code. If people found a way (a peaceful way) to work out their differences, there’d be no war. However, if we’re talking IT, then I say definitely hacking into other countries systems and shutting down their weapons activated by computers and such.
