Go to your browser and search it and (in 2016) at the last. You should find your answer. I think that C# might be the winner. Because it contains more facilities than java. Wow but I am not sure. Try it on the browser.

C# is general purpose programming language which is a part of .NET framework developed by Microsoft. For what reasons should I choose C#over Java and C++? Java and C# were designed to be full-bodied. ... Javaprograms are actually compiled into platform-independent byte codes.

C# is a more modern programming languages and has a lot of useful features which are absent in Java. At the same time Java provides many solutions, it`s pretty popular. C# is a more complex for learning. All in all, a choice of the concrete language depends on a task. A detailed information about Java and C# battle you can find in this great article. http://computoolsglobal.com/blog/java-vs-c/
