[Off-Topic]: Linux Users

I remember that some people here are Linux users, so it seems right to spread this note here. If you have a Lenovo or Acer laptop, please wait to install the latest version of Ubuntu. There is an error that affects some models of both brands and can leave your laptop useless. If you know other Linux users, please share the news, that way they avoid accidents. http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2017/12/ubuntu-corrupting-lenovo-laptop-bios

linuxMint, Parrort Sec, Ubuntu, BlackBox, Kali. They are all Debain architectured linux distributions. Slackware is old SuSe distribution. Then there is fedora, red hat thing with which I am allergic for personal reasons :)

Thanks for the information! (I don't use Linux though, but it's good to keep up with the times)

@Carson Ubuntu is a fairly user friendly distribution and undoubtedly has a good user base. Personally I do not like it, but I do not have any problems with the distribution. I'm just not a fan of distributions that use apt as a package manager (I'm currently using Fedora and Antergos) There are a lot of developers who use it because most things work out-the-box and the support of many tools is based on the distribution, so it is an advantage. Also distributions based on Debian and Ubuntu can enjoy using different versions of a program through the PPA, which is something that as a developer may be strange in some cases (not all projects need to be in the latest version of any tool. I myself have been affected by it in some distributions where I had to compile a specific version of a tool, which is a waste of time that in another scenario you can not afford) The "hate" to Ubuntu seems silly to me, being honest. Many people hate distribution for no reason, do not have a weighty argument beyond the opions they read from someone else or attack subjective points of their experience to disqualify, which I think is wrong

Hi Chebu. Just came over here to say that thank you for spending time accepting my challenges. I have almost zero programming background except my finishing sololearn python tutorials. I've learned so much by playing the challenges with you. Great thanks.
