How do you remember course material?

As I am learning some languages, I often have the hunch that I’m going to forget some details that I learn. When I do want to use what I’ve learned I normally have to look back at some of the lessons. Does anyone have an efficient method of remembering course material?

Practice reinforces memory. As easy as that. Beginners make the common mistake of going through the tutorials without writing any code or making stuff by themselves.

Your skill to look something up or find something is more important than your skill to remember. The courses go nowhere. You can read them again if you need something from it. So what you do is the way I do it.

the best way to remember something is to practice using it. I also found that trying to create training material, or a tutorial or example code, is very good for memorizing things.
