Flash is dead. Sites that use it are either not maintained or are still working on getting rid of it. HTML 5 support for video and enhanced graphics, combined with Flash's history of terrible security are largely responsible for Flash's demise. Browser plugins in general are a big source of security problems.

They might but shouldn't. It was prone to security problems and tricky little privacy leaks. Having said that...I think ActionScript is still used in Adobe AIR.

yes. unfotunatlly Flash will end soon. But it was very great using it for me.
