Flask is ok for initial stage of learning,it has scope to write code personally.
Django is very rich Python based Framework and it has very rich support platform.

As you know, flask is a minimalist framework whereas Django is a full-featured framework. However, take a look at the book "Lightweight Django" for an approach to Django that may be more to your liking.
