Web Apps C# Or Javascript framework

I'm new to programming and my interest is in web apps but having some difficulty choosing a language.

Easiest place to start is learning Javascript and NodeJS. I'd learn some of the frameworks for JS also, such as jQuery, React, and Angular. With these choices, you could easily accomplish most things.

ASP.net is another good choice, as well as Java, Kotlin, and other such languages. Really just depends what you want to do, how you want to do it, and what you're most comfortable with using.
