How to parse Lua to csv or an excelfile?

Question

First of I have zero experience codeing or any of the sort.
I however use a addon for a game. The addon scan items on a market place and saves the data to a Lua file. I would like to use this info in an excelfile.
Anyone a idea how I best go about this?

That seems to be about reading a xls file with Lua? I want to do the opposite. Get a Lua file translated to xls or csv if possible
