Big Slayer fan, right here! But my favorite bands right now are the Dayglo Abortions, Oi Polloi, and The Dwarves...but can't leave out Suicidal Tendencies! Haha!

The most helpful music for me when I'm coding is "Igorrr" it's a french wild-electro-metal-flamenco-guinguette-jazz-breakcore-harpischord-chicken-lyrical-metalagain musician. It works on my brains like oil in an engine !

I believe genres without vocals work better for me. I'd like to say it's either to drown out distracting outside sounds or distract the part of my brain that compulsively tracks butterflies and squirrels...but some days I don't need anything at all. This makes me think it's something else: caffeine level, biorhythms, etc :)
