Well JAVA is not going to die anywhere soon, but it is a JavaScript world now. Particularly for web development, going for MEAN stack will increase your market value significantly M - Mongo E - Express A - Angular N - Nodejs Going deep into React can also help. Cross Platform apps with React Native is trending.
