Anyone here tried using Python for Microcontollers?

I have looked into Zeryth a bit, but I am skeptical.

This is really interesting question and task.You mean something microchip or atmel atmega or this kind of thing.I do not believe that it is useful for that because firstly you need to have compiled python interpret into very reduse instruction set for this kind of mchips. Second problem can be speed and amount of memory.

I may give them a try. I am picking up Python better than I am C, so seems like a good idea for now.

@Jerimiah:Wow,I did not know the Zerynth project although it is only for 32bit core based on arm cortex not for microchips like at mega (8-bit).I took a look at the project wery fast and it is very interesting for me.Have you tried to do something with the Zerynth?
