How do you turn off the irrelevant notifications on android?

So there is no obvious option to turn off the irritating notifications that are completely irrelevant, other than to say, "HEY IM STILL INSTALLED! USE ME!" which simply makes me want to uninstall this app and rate it 1 star.
There has to be a way to disable them, but it is clearly not intuitive enough because I am here asking the community for help.

You need to open App-Info for the App. There will be an option to disable Notifications.
