Netbeans cannot find Java Development Kit

I'm new to computing. First degree (Network Security). I installed latest netbeans. Then it said it wanted the JDK(latest also) . So I searched & downloaded. And then installed it. When I opened the netbeans installer it said it cannot find it. Help me I want to do my assignments. (T.T) Thank you very much for helping me. Really thank you.
