I am having trouble converting a .py file to .exe one. I tried with pyinstaller, installing through cmd (I have Python 2.7 on my laptop), but it is so complicated. Is there any other way?

Appears to work fine on 2.7 + XP.

There are sample configurations further down the thread. Ignore comments related to version (SourceForge has been updated since). You may also be able to find pyinstaller help there.
