[Raspberry Pi 3] Can I use a cell phone charger as a power source for the raspberry pi 3?

I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 more than 2 months ago and I can't use it. I bought a micro SD memory card. I tried to write the Raspibian system using the Etcher program, but it didn't work. At the end of the recording Etcher says that the image: "may not have been recorded correctly". I tried using Win32Disk which writes correctly but doesn't work. Error: Kernel panic-not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (179,2). I'm using a Motorola 5V power source and 2A output. Could that be the problem? Sometimes it appears this message and sometimes it doesnt appear. But Raspberry Pi 3 never works.

change your sd card. the one you're using is corrupted(That's the error message from etcher). when you have power issues while writing to the sd card, corruption is a common thing. Ensure you have a power supply capable of providing at least 2,5 Amps. Use an externally powered usb hub for your periferals and external power for shields like the pihat or similar.

I used Samsung power adapter to power up my raspi. It works well. :) Make sure the power adapter could supply current to 1 amp at least.

it is not about the brand of gadget it is about the amp required.

Usually it works and it can even work with 1A. Sometimes we have to wire off LED-Matrix and other modules. Booting AND light might have too much power consumption.

Yes, it can. I already have tried change and others supplies doesn't work. My raspberry pi need a supply with 2,5A output. But my Moto adapter have just 2,0A output. I'm wondering if could be the micro SD Card.

Thank for your answer @Oma . I'm rewriting the image system now. I expect it works.
