I would say the best option to choose from any other career paths. Because everything is online now, and which is not, will be soon in coming future. And when they do, YOU(as an UI/UX designer) will be required to make it beautiful and make the best user experience.

I hope you get what I am trying to convey here. This field is never going to be extinct. :)
