What languages should a web developer have a good knowledge?

I am a beginner in web development. I have a strong knowledge in HTML. What should I learn next, CSS or Javascript or HTML5 or Python or Ruby or PHP?

The more the merrier and you might want to look at all of those, but CSS and Javascript are the most important for sure! Serverside coding can wait.

=> HTML, CSS and Javascipt are the "must know" for a client side (front end). => For the back end development(server side), PHP, Python, NodeJS are the good ones..

in my opinion If you know HTML your next step is to learn HTML 5 after that CSS and java script. You can choose any other language after these three .
