Types of suspicious activities : 🚫 Multiple profiles of Same person 🚫 challenges cheats , winning/loosing back to back challenges against self alleged brother, sister or friends. 🚫 Community and code content : some users aren't following it strictly. 🚫 some guys join SL using random email id without any verification only to spam in Q&A section or longer threads. 🚫 Harassing users using their name, Profile images. Most important : 🚫 Harassing users with vulgar comments (insult, flirt, etc)

I am OK with moderating the community and removing inappropriate content. Putting mod tools aside, I can tolerate managing cases of spam/abuse with nothing done to prevent similar cases from happening in future (I believe mods may actually be the sole line of prevention towards spam/abuse). What I'm not OK with, is to have to deal with the same idiot multiple times over the span of days, while the same effort could be focused on moderating and making other parts of the community friendlier. Moderators serve SoloLearn - and by SoloLearn, we mean the SoloLearn community, which is fair, loving, friendly, and just. We answer to the community, not to anyone else. When a user acts in such a way which breaches our Community Guidelines, and continue in a manner of no remorse, he/she has automatically excluded him/herself from the community. Part of our jobs as moderators is to make sure that said user is banned until he no longer acts maliciously. I believe this is also the will of the community itself.

I hate to say it, but: It's been like that since I joined and there weren't mods then. I think some mods are doing a really good job (don't want to write, who - because I will certainly forget to mention someone who earned it). And I really appreciate every help from the community. But apparently SoloLearn doesn't want strict rules and tolerates all these immoral behaviors as we don't have any other chance than finding these accidentally and then need at least 2-3 mods to do something against it.

We certainly need more support and your voice raised, as there are too few of us, mods, now - considering the increasing number of users.

Owners need to think about what kind of community they want, and what kind of service they want to give. I believe they should create more strict rules in some regards. Stack Overflow is a good example to follow.

if people care about questions and answers in challenge and try to understand all lessons rather than other things then they will not leave this good community. I know some this why they use Bot, microworker bla bla.. at least I got free education from this place and it's really good app. I hate unfair play too and I will join report. ps: I encourage people use real photo profile to make our community reality.

I would categorize the kinds of persons that could keep this SoloLearn community into two: - Moderators - Quiz Reviewers Recruiting of persons into these roles and responsibilities should continue, probably till we have better methods of achieving those results... Well, the SoloLearn Admin had responded few days ago... ^-^

I want to thank all the mods here, for all the trouble they went through and effort they've given, it must be a somewhat tedious thing to do, to have to deal with so many different negativity, yet, still have to stay on the right line. It's easy for one to be influenced, provoked, or get carried away by everyday SL activities. I hope many people read this thread so they understand that this is everyone's responsibility, not mods', and I wish for SL to assist by means of tools or privileges to help the mods in their everyday activities. I'm with you guys, whoever you are if it's for the better of this community.

What happens when you " report " something ? It does get flagged right ? How many moderators are there ? Surely non-moderators but patroling users " patrolers/flaggers " could be enlisted to flag garbage and make the mods more efficient and the job less demanding ? Like a few posts on mandatory flagging and patrol duty from the top users/contributors would certainly infuse the community with a greater sense of responsibility about those types of issues ? I'm'a flagalag e'ry suspicious activity from now on ! See something ? Say something ! Keep the neighborhood troll free ! Sololearn needs <i> YOU </i> to report suspicious activity to your local moderator ! [...] I'm in. 👮
