How can i build chat application for Android or can someone tutor me on it or advice?

When you develop something in adroid studio there are some great tools to get a good looking function, android-y looking app. You can normally spot them easily enough due to how the widgets and nav bars and icons look. I'm pretty sure whatsapp is built using android studio, and I'm sure sololearn is too. Just take a look at them both, they look the same and navigate the same, unlike something like the sky sports app which has been made using different tools.
These apps have took years to build and perfect and there's loads and loads happening behind the scenes. But you can do something simple enough yes. I think a friend at uni made a messaging app that worked over Bluetooth which was a mini project for one of the course modules.

In my opinion it would be a good route to go. It's not the only way but that's what I'd do if I wanted to make an android app. Knowing the ins and outs of java would help, but the tutorials and documentation is good enough to get you through, though I would say you need to know at least the basics of coding in a high level language like c++, java, c# etc.

Download android studio, and then work your way through the tutorials/documentation until you learn what you need to know. No short way about it unfortunately

I have no idea. Too mang variables. Your technical ability, if u get help, how much time u code in a day, hardware setup, alsorts to consider. I've never done it myself
